What is an appointment like?

Before the first visit
After scheduling a visit, download intake forms and complete them. If you have copies of your medical records, bring a copy to the visit. Write down your questions and concerns prior to the visit to ensure that they are answered.

First visit
Your first visit at Aspire Natural Health is 45-60 minutes long. At the first visit, you and your doctor will begin a partnership focused on your health and well-being. We view our job as guides and as educators. It’s not our job to fix you, we are going to help guide you in the journey to fix yourself.

You and your doctor will talk about what has brought you in, your medical history, your concerns, and any relevant issues. Physical exams will be done and, if necessary, you will talk about tests that would be useful in clarifying your condition and your needs.

Your doctor will enroll you in the River of Health program, and begin to customize your treatment. They will outline the beginning of your plan that will start to correct your underlying imbalances and begin moving you towards greater health and well-being. Very likely as part of that plan your Naturopathic doctor will prescribe a few supplements and other medicines to encourage the process of healing.

You will have begun a relationship with a caring, committed health care professional and started on your journey to health and wellness.

Return visits
Return visits are 30 minutes in length. You and your Naturopathic doctor will check-in and see how you’re doing, assess any changes, and determine how well your therapies are working. Depending on your needs and condition, physical exams will be performed, testing may be ordered, and supplements and medicines will be prescribed to best help you. Your Naturopathic doctor will clarify and answer any questions you might have and make adjustments to your program.
