Payment is due at the time of visit. We accept cash, Visa, or Mastercard.Let's be really clear about this, we do not directly work with insurance, so you have to pay for your visit when you have it. We accept cash, check, Visa or Mastercard. We are happy to provide you with the necessary codes and paperwork to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement, and the amount you get back will depend on the company and policy that you have.
We know this is strange for many people, and they wonder why we don't accept insurance.
In a nutshell it's because we work outside the box. Most of our patients have seen 4-10 other doctors before coming to see us and have run the gamut of insurance based providers and they're looking for other options. We exist to help those people, and provide those options.
If you're happy and satisfied with the care you're getting from your MD, then we recommend staying with them and letting your insurance pay for your visits.
But if you're looking for something else, that's where we come in. Because we don't work for the insurance companies we don't have to play by their rules, that means:
- We can spend more time with you. Which means we don't just ask you a couple of questions and whip out a prescription pad. Our goal is to get to know you as a person and find out what is going on from head to toe.
- We can treat you with what we feel is most effective. Not with what the insurance company wants to give you.
